Welcome to ABA in Practice an eleven-part series with the aim of taking you through the process of Completing intake and initial assessment to parent and staff training, to implementing treatment plans and behavior plans. All they way to maintaining and generalizing skills. The focus of ABA in Practice is to help you, as a practitioner and a professional, to put ABA theories into practice.

Each sessions offer a variety of downloadable tools including a workbook with notes from each session and guidance to complete the practical sections of each session. The workbook also include checklists that can be used during training and supervision sessions. 

This Training is perfect for:

• ABA practitioners, especially for professionals at the beginning of their journey (Behavior Analysts as well as Behavior Technicians)

Our ABA in Practice series, unfolds over eleven sessions, each building upon the knowledge gained in the previous one. Here is a sneak peek at the topics, you can check each session for more details:

Session 1 - Overview of ABA: Introduction to ABA principles, goals and its wide-reaching impact on various populations.
Session 2 - Completing Intake and Initial Assessment: This session will guide you through the essential steps of intake and initial assessment, providing you with the tools to begin the ABA process effectively (1.5 General CEUs).
Session 3 - Conducting Skill Assessment: Learn how to assess an individual's skills and needs, a critical phase in tailoring an ABA program to their specific needs and creating an individual treatment plan (1 General CEU)
Session 4 - Creating Treatment and Lesson Plans: Discover how to created comprehensive treatment and lesson plans that serve as roadmaps for achieving a better quality of life for our clients (1.5 General CEUs)
Session 5 - Beginning and Implementing a New Program: Understand the crucial steps in launching a new ABA program, including setting goals, selecting interventions, and ensuring effective implementation and supervising RBT (2.5 Supervision CEUs)
Session 6 - Creating and Utilizing Visual Supports and Prompting: Visual supports and prompting techniques are invaluable in ABA. This session explores their creation and effective use (2.5 General CEUs)
Session 7 - Data Collection Procedures for Everyday Use: Dive into the intricacies of data collection in ABA, learning the daily practices that inform decision-making and program adjustments (to be recorded)
Session 8 - Graphing and Interpreting Data: Data without analysis is incomplete. In this session we will review how to graph and interpret data effectively, providing insights for program refinement (to be recorded)
Session 9 - Understanding and Assisting with Behavior Plans: Behavior plans are vital for addressing challenging behaviors. This session guides you through their understanding and implementation as well as parent training on successfully implementing behavior plans (to be recorded)
Session 10 - Generalization and Maintenance: Building on previous knowledge, we'll explore how to ensure that learned behaviors generalize and are maintained over time (to be recorded)
Session 11 - Technology in ABA: Explore the integration of technology into ABA practices, offering new avenues for intervention and data management, as well as reviewing the use of technology for telehealth and assessment (to be recorded)
